In Kenyan logistics, most delays are paperwork delays wearing a disguise. A missing KEBS certificate, an IDF lodged late, an exemption letter that was never applied for - each one turns into storage charges at the terminal. Brandmax documentation services exist to front-load all of it.
We prepare and process the documents that govern import and export movements: Import Declaration Forms, certificates of origin, commercial documentation for letters of credit, and the product-specific permits issued by agencies like KEBS (PVoC inspections and certificates of conformity), KEPHIS for plant and food products, and the Pharmacy and Poisons Board for medical goods.
We also handle exemption processing where your cargo qualifies - EAC duty remission, donor-funded or government project exemptions - including the applications and follow-up that these regimes require. The goal is always the same: nothing missing when cargo arrives.

Frequently asked questions
What is an IDF and when do I need it?
The Import Declaration Form is a mandatory KRA requirement for commercial imports into Kenya, and it must be lodged before the goods ship - ideally as soon as you place the order. We lodge it for you.
Does my product need a KEBS certificate?
Most regulated goods imported into Kenya require a certificate of conformity from pre-export inspection (PVoC). Tell us your product and we will confirm whether it is regulated and arrange the inspection.
Can you get duty exemptions processed?
Yes - where your organisation or goods qualify under EAC remission or other exemption regimes, we prepare and follow the application through approval.
